Letter of a graduate of the “Bolashak” International Scholarship Dilyara Daminova

February 2, 2015

In her letter, Dilyara Daminova wrote that in 1999 she graduated with honours from the Rochester Institute of Technology, USA, with the major in “Tourism and hospitality”.

Upon her return to Kazakhstan, Dilyara Daminova worked in a number of organisations, putting her knowledge into practice. In 2008, Daminova defended her master’s thesis, working out recommendations for tourism management in conservation areas and national parks. At present, Dilyara teaches hospitality management and tourism in English at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

“In 1998, we promised you to exert every effort to make our country prosperous. I am pleased to assure you that your initiatives are accurate and far-sighted. This is the case in particular for the “Bolashak” programme, which aims to develop and support young people. We, in turn, will continue to contribute to the implementation of the “Nurly Zhol” new economic policy and the “Kazakhstan-2050” Strategy focused on Kazakhstan’s  joining top 30 developed countries of the world,” the letter reads.

In conclusion, Dilyara Daminova wished the President good health and success, emphasizing she would continue her research in the sphere of tourism in Kazakhstan.
